John Legend performed live in Manila on the 26th of March at the Big Dome, Araneta Coliseum.

This is John’s first live concert in Manila. Legend himself declared at his press conference held at the Manila Shangri La Hotel, that the Filipino people are very hospitable and that he was enjoying the warm weather than what Europe had to offer. He was excited to meet his Filipino fans and was also anticipating to see how the fans react to his show.

The six time Grammy winner stirred the crowd with his hits which included ‘Green Light’, ‘Ordinary People’ and ‘Used to Love You’.

John will continue to tour the Far East and will perform in Korea, Japan and Macao.

Craig David, performed in front of a large audience at the Araneta Coliseum. Craig graced the stage and performed his popular hits that included ‘Fill Me In’, ‘Walking Away’ and ‘Rewind’.

Craig also made a guest appearance on ABS-CBN’s music show ASAP 09 and sang an acoustic version of ‘Fill Me In’. Whilst being interviewed on stage he expressed his feelings about the Filipino audience: “It was a beautiful thing to come back here and firstly do a proper show and when you see thousands of people in Arena going crazy for your songs it’s an amazing feeling for me and there are some incredibly beautiful Filipino girls in the audience so that was all good.”

Since his arrival in Manila, Craig hit the Filipino party scene and was apparently seen clubbing every night. “Clubs in Manila are ahead of the game than those back home, simply because it feels like people make an effort to go out. In terms of the MC’s and hip hop part of the club they really get on the microphone and get the crowd hyped a lot. That doesn’t really happen much in the UK anymore because it was happening for quite a while, but here you can come out and it is refreshing to see how it used to be.”

It’s so nice to see that people are actually going to PI for concerts. They kinda tend to just hit Tokyo and then don’t realise there’s the whole rest of Asia to go to.

Lol, imagine being in PI though and going to see a Craig David concert???
