Jasper Garvida is the first Filipino to have won Sky One’s Project Catwalk, hosted by Kelly Osbourne.

Project Catwalk is a competitive reality television series that focuses on fashion design. The show follows a group of designers as they compete against each other to win the competition, which includes £25,000, a clothing range courtesy of Oil and a full feature fashion spread in Grazia magazine. The programme is based upon the US reality show Project Runway, which is currently hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum.

Throughout the third season of Project Catwalk, Jasper demonstrated his consistency and capability of winning the show. In two episodes Jasper designed a dress for Nancy Dell-Olio and designed a shirt for the “Fashion Targets Breast Cancer” charity which incorporated the charity’s signature target logo which defeated his fellow contestants.

Jasper was born in the Philippines and raised in Toronto. From the age of 12, he had a desire for photography and which then led on to his love and passion for Fashion.

At 19 years old, he enrolled at the International Academy of Design in Toronto. Jasper carried skills in tailoring, pattern cutting and construction. With his vision and determination, he was accepted at London’s prestigious Central St Martins College of Art & Design in fashion. Having ventured himself overseas he started to develop his signature style.
