Next month, members of the London LDNmeetsMNL team are crossing the pond and will be in the New York area for a few days. So, if you know of any events that you think might be of interest to us then let us know and we’ll try and stop by.
We’ve also noted that there are quite a few Filipino restaurants out there so we’re going to see what delicacies they have to offer – let us know if you’ve been to any and which ones you do and don’t recommend.
If you really want the LDNmeetsMNL treatment and you’ve got some free time to tell and show us what it’s like to be Filipino in NY then drop us a line and we’ll see what we can work out.
Keep checking back for updates and our take on the Big Apple when we return…

Ahhh pack me in your suitcase-many thanks
Hey guys try and make it to Cendrillion! Owner Amy Besa was over here last year at one of our events for her award winning cook book and loves to talk about Philippine Cuisine! If you need any copies of the book for the future let us know!
Cendrillon was delicious! It served tasty food, in a lovely restaurant, with really lovely owners, but unfortunately it is now closed.
Don’t worry though they are opening a new restaurant called Purple Yam in Brooklyn- I think it’s due to open in May.
Details on their blog - http://www.cendrillon.com
I guess that’s a good enough excuse to head over to the U S of A.
